Obsolete Debate........

The statement “Kobe Bryant is the greatest player in the NBA” has been debated more frequently and aggressively then politicians have debated abortion in recent years. Everyone has reasons why they agree and disagree with this statement. I don’t intend to force my opinion upon you readers. Instead I am simply here to provide you with the necessary tools for you to reach the logical conclusion, which is of course that Kobe is indeed the greatest NBA player. His career numbers are undisputable proof of his greatness, but that’s not reason enough to label him the greatest, not even the incredible 81 point performance seems sufficient.
His greatness is more evident in his style of play, his amazing acrobatic moves comparable only to the performers in the Cirque Du Soleil shows in Vegas. His ability to contour his body mid-air, ala black mamba, to make an impossible dunk or lay-up appear effortless. His unique leadership skills are unmatched and unrivaled by any other “Team Capitan”. He guides his teammates with a healthy dose of tough love, like the parent whose discipline is backed by force, for the good of the child. His ability to materialize championship titles at will is so immense, that he has developed an uncanny ability to maintain his focus amid the rough terrain of hate he must navigate daily. Terrain of hate so bad, it would derail most anyone, but not Kobe. He uses it as fuel, thrives off of it, makes him work harder, train harder, and play harder.

As we all become witnesses to these 2010 playoffs and subsequently the 2010 Finals, you will find yourself immersed in an unequivocal experience as you realize the absurdity of Kobe's gravity defying, carefully timed "I can't believe he actually made that!!!" shots, then you will remember this writing, an epiphany will arise, Kobe is the Greatest NBA player, debate non existent.
